The Simplified Customer Due Diligence Guidance Notes were approved and issued in November 2023, in accordance with Section 15 (3)(e) of the Money Laundering and Terrorism (Prevention) Act. The guidance will assist institutions regulated by the Central Bank of Belize in applying risk-based due diligence measures.
