The Central Bank of Belize is pleased to inform the public that the Automated Payment and Securities Settlement System (APSSS) has been fully restored and is now operating normally.
The Central Bank worked closely with the APSSS vendor to identify and resolve the issue with all participants, ensuring and confirming that customers' transactions from one bank to another can be executed successfully. All services have been reinstated, and customers can resume normal payment and settlement activities.
The Central Bank appreciates the cooperation and patience of the public and stakeholders during this period. We remain committed to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of Belize’s national payments infrastructure.
