The objective of the Central Bank of Belize’s Credit Conditions Survey Results is to deepen the Central Bank’s understanding of credit market conditions to inform macroeconomic projections and monetary policy decisions.
The objective of the Central Bank of Belize’s Credit Conditions Survey Results is to deepen the Central Bank’s understanding of credit market conditions to inform macroeconomic projections and monetary policy decisions. The survey collects deposit-taking institutions’ (domestic banks and credit unions) views of loan supply and demand conditions in the previous half year and a credit outlook for the upcoming half-year period. These results are published bi-annually.
